1000 leaving parties later and we're off!

No more sleeps!!! We're finally off to start our new lives :)  

It's been an absolute whirlwind tour but we've managed to get round to everyone to say our goodbyes.  

A big shout out to everyone who's fed, housed and entertained us - You've all made our final weeks in the UK very special.  

First stop will be Colombo airport, Sri Lanka. You'll all be more than happy to know it appears to still be raining, so we're going to head east and chase the sun... We'll let you know how that pans out...  

Keep an eye out for blog posts - we'll try to only add them as and when we have something exciting to share :) - this one is a bad example...

Mummy and Daddy Birkett - thanks for the break in France, the amazing food and the memories.  
You also managed to get me off the hook from the big move out of the flat :)  

Harry and Imo for flying from the warmths of the Med to join us in the rain at Bestival.  
We're so looking forward to hooking up somewhere more exotic for christmas!  

Victoria and Patty for sorting some last minute sofa space and dusting off the Bestival blues with lots of laughter… mainly over MUD. Yuk.  

Peewie and Kerry for letting Jamie stink out your flat and pass out on your sofa.  

Stuey for finally pulling your weight with the cleaning and helping us get our deposit back.  
Also for bringing our last treasured possessions back to the pub when you were so far away.  

Mrs Hartley for cooking up a storm and giving us a lovely bed for the night.  

Katy for taking us to the pub, even though she was super poorly.  

Jamie's mum for looking after the stuff and Olivia and Roy for keeping our monies safe.  

Chris and Russ and the staff at the flying bull for keeping us fed and watered and showing us some of the delights of the Petersfield area.  

My gorgeous sister, thank you in advance for picking up my UK admin.  

All the lovely (and very generous) people from LV=.  

Also a big thank you to everyone who attended what seems like thousands of leaving parties (yes we milked it!!) and showed the same levels of enthusiasm for each (we know it was tough).  

Finally a super special mention to the beautiful Cara Johnson for having the hardest job of all by saying the last goodbye at the airport.  
You bought us drinks!  

Thank you so so so so so much to Rod, Imo, Victoria, Lisa and Danni, you are incredible!!  
We have saved it up, and we'll raise our first glass to you when we find sun in Sri Lanka!!  

For any of you who haven't yet... Buy us a drink!!!  

Love you all, and if any of you want a holiday, let us know and we'll happily find space on the floor/slum/favela/luxury hotel - depending on how well we do.
